Photography isn’t just pictures; it’s proof that we lived, that we loved, and that our stories mattered
Photography has always been my way of holding onto the moments that matter. It started in high school with a borrowed camera and a darkroom ;watching images come to life out of nothing felt like magic. I didn’t know then how much it would mean to me later.
I’m a mom to five beautiful children. In August of 2024, I lost the father of my youngest son, and just 24 hours later, our son was born a month early. Those days showed me how fragile and precious life is. In my grief, photographs became everything; the proof that he was here, that our story mattered even though it was short.
This is why I photograph the way I do. With honesty, tenderness, and reverence for the moments that will one day be all we have left. Because photos aren’t just pictures ; they’re proof that we lived, that we loved, and that our stories mattered.
